Obama's lead over Clinton growing in SC
Source: RASMUSSEN REPORTS (Yahoo News)

Heading into Saturday's Democratic Presidential Primary in South Carolina, Barack Obama holds a large and growing double-digit lead over Hillary Clinton.

-snip_

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in South Carolina shows Obama earning 43% of the vote, Clinton attracting 28%, and John Edwards at 17%. Obama led by thirteen points in the previous Rasmussen Reports poll and has led by at least twelve points in four of the last five polls conducted in the race.

John Edwards has remained between 14% and 17% in all South Carolina polls conducted by Rasmussen Reports in January. However, as Obama pulls away, Edwards is now closer to Clinton than Clinton is to Obama.

4. No worry - Like in New Hampshire, poll didn't matter
Hillary will win magically.

5. Zogby's poll contains some statements about Edwards increasing his percentages
but I think that has more to do with the lack of alternate candidates to HRC or Obama. Also, just because Bill Clinton, as the poll also states, has high favorability, could be for a lot of reasons outside of the campaign, and does not necessarily it's going to translate into votes for HRC. The state of panic in the Clinton campaign is more telling. Also the fact that Obama holds a 49 percent tally of voters overall, and blacks 55%

7. Will Obama supporters vote tactically for Edwards to Make Hillary Come Third?
Just a thought but even better than a double digit win for Obama would be for Hillary to come third. Its risky but might some Obama supporters be tempted to transfer their support to Edwards so he comes second?

8. Nobody who feels insulted
by the Clintons this last week will consider shifting.

The result after this election: Edwards drops out, and the anti-Hillary vote gets consolidated. She only wins (and by narrow margins) in states where African-Americans do not make up a substantial portion of the Democratic voting base. And that's less than half of the states that vote in Tsunami Tuesday.
