US to allow France, Canada bid for contracts
What's the catch? That they supply troops? Something tells me that they're lieing bigtime about Iraq.

MONTERREY, Mexico: The United States said yesterday that France and other countries which opposed the war in Iraq may be allowed to bid for reconstruction projects there.

The announcement came from the White House shortly after President George W Bush said Canada would be able to bid for an estimated $18.6bn worth of contracts.

“The president said he wanted to recognise the importance of contributions by Canada and others in Madrid, and if France and others want to join our efforts in Iraq, circumstances will change,” US National Security Council spokesman Sean McCormack said.

1. Canada has been with the U.S.A. on the war on terror from the beginning.
We agreed with the war in Afghanistan and have been there with you from the beginning...Because the American media has ignored this fact, (no doubt because we did not agree with the Iraq attack), the American public thinks we have not been helping you with the war on terror...As of now we have the largest contingent of troops in Afghanistan, next to Americans....But our government is still saying we will not send troops to fight in Iraq...This has not changed, so far as I know....

2. Here's what I'd do if I was France or Canada
I'd put in the bid and when I get the money for what I'll say 2.3 Billion. I'd subcontract it to the Iraqi people minus a 10% fee. Or tell'em to shove it I don't want their bloody fucking money.
