Blair 'No Longer Believes his Own Wmd Arguments'
Tony Blair faced fresh questions over his claims about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction today after admitting they might never be found.

The Prime Minister yesterday insisted he was right to act on intelligence that Saddam Hussein had a chemical and biological arsenal.

But Mr Blair said “it may well not be surprising” if it was never be uncovered.

The PM’s words were seized on as an admission of defeat by former Labour ministers who opposed the war.

1. Translation of "it may well not be surprising":
"WMD were never there."

Excuse me, Mr. Prime Minister, did you not say you would resign if the claims proved false?

2. Just like O'Reilly would apologize to the nation
the chances of either happening... well the proverbial snow
ball has a better chance on the ninth circle of hell

6. Blair suckered in Bush?
Even Berlusconi admitted that he tried to talk Bush out of it, but when it couldn't be done he went along with it. Bush and Blair were in "cahoots" just as the US and Britain were the only ones interested in the Iraqi "no-fly" zone. That never came from the UN, it came from us.

10. How will Brits react to Paul O'Neill revelation?
I have these mental images of Blair trying to sneak out the back door of Parliment before they can get to him.

14. Blair didn't get the memo from Rove
that says "it doesn't matter if WMD's are found because the world's a safer place w/o Saddam."

Gotta keep those talking points straight.

Or maybe Blair's just tired of lying.

16. So what does he do now???
Will he keep the British forces in Iraq anyway? And I wonder what the response is from the other countries that have soldiers there too.

How many non-American troops are over there?
