Thompson charges Fox News is biased against his campaign
Source: The Hill

Former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.) suggested on Sunday that Fox News is biased against his campaign, charging that the network highlights commentators who have been critical of his run for the presidency.

In an interview on "Fox News Sunday," host Chris Wallace pressed Thompson on how some conservatives have lambasted Thompson's campaign and showed clips of Fox conservative commentators Charles Krauthammer and Fred Barnes criticizing the former senator.

Thompson said, "This has been a constant mantra of Fox, to tell you the truth." He noted that other conservatives have praised his bid for the GOP nomination and took issue with a Fox promo that focused on polling in New Hampshire, where Thompson is registering in the single digits.

He said he is running second in national polls and has been leading or tied for the lead in South Carolina for "a long, long time."

Thompson, in a firm, but measured tone, scolded Wallace: "...for you to highlight nothing but the negatives in terms of the polls and then put on your own guys who have been predicting for four months, really, that I couldn't do it, kind of skew things a little bit. There's a lot of other opinion out there."

27. It's okay in parts of NC as well...
I'm seeing more and more Thompson '08 bumper stickers. I can't think of any other Repub candidate stickers I've seen, but for Ron Paul. Oh, and some loon with Condoleeza '08 slapped on the back of his behemoth SUV.

Why does Fred watching FUX surprise you?

10. I've also heard Faux News hit Romney this weekend. Romney is getting "Dukakis'ed"
Mitt is taking the heat from them over appointing a judge who released a convicted murderer. It is he top item on their poliical page.

Uproar Over Mass. Judge Who Released Killer Takes Political Tilt for Romney Campaign

DERRY, N.H. — The uproar over the Massachusetts judge who released a convicted killer now being held on two fresh murders in Washington state has taken a political tilt for the campaign of Mitt Romney, who nominated the judge when he was governor.

The GOP presidential candidate on Saturday personally called for the resignation of Superior Court Judge Kathe M. Tuttman, who overruled a lower court ruling and released convicted killer Daniel Tavares Jr. in July, rejecting prosecutors' request to set his bail at $50,000 after he was arrested on assault charges. Tavares had also once threatened to kill Romney.

13. Well over Thanksgiving flipping through channels at the hotel
Fox News was going after Romney pretty bad yet came back to plug Rudy in-between. It appears that Murdoch has appointed Rudy to be the winner of the GOP nomination/Presidency. Fred is not in the official "in" group. Unless Murdoch approves, nobody can get anywhere.

15. Fred wakes up from one of his twenty daily 'naps' to mumble something about Fox News...
before drifting off into heavy slumber yet again.
Sources close to Mr. Thompson wiped a long string of drool from his chin.
This incident follows soon after Mr. Thompson's statement that 'prune juice keeps me reg'lar. muffin cakes. sweetie pie.'

would have ever shown bias against a republican let alone anybody else? You're just pissed they aren't supporting you as your republican nature wouldn't have given a good shit if they would have done that to all of the other repukes running and was pushing your sorry ass instead.

31. He's got a small point
Faux news favors the extremist, fascist neo-conservative rethugs rather than the paleo or true conservative like Thompson. One is rabidly pro war the other rabidly pro war, not much difference there. Where they differ is in social issues which is why a liberal rethug is the darling of Murdoch, the mid east player at the top of this crooked organization.

33. There's a further facet of this saggy saga.
Murdoch knows it's highly likely he's going to have to deal with a fairly united and strong democratic majority but he's cagey enough to pull the necessary strings to own the GOP nominee. He didn't get to owning or influencing half the world by being silly or careless, nor for the lack of a long term strategy.

There's just gotta be a way to put a stop to the blatant bribery that is the life of national politics.

Thompson actually noticed what Faux is like!

Sure, it's because of bias against him; but still it shows more awareness than I've seen out of any other GOPer.
