... An American intelligence specialist is telling friends that he saw Bremer say a prayer before a dinner meeting with security specialists in Brussels three years ago.

Faced with mounting bad news in Iraq, Bremer, a career diplomat and former managing director of Henry Kissinger?s consulting firm, is said to have started praying before meetings in Baghdad. It?s not known what impression, if any, the prayers have made on the Iraqis, who tend to frown on non-Islamic forms of religious expression in their midst.
