Nooses found hanging in university classroom (Michigan)

A student found four nooses in a classroom at Central Michigan University earlier this week, the school said Thursday.

The student found the nooses in a section of the Engineering and Technology Building typically used by senior engineering students. They were made of compressed gas lines that are typically used in laboratory work, according to a news release.

Michigan state Sen. Hansen Clark said he met with the university president to discuss how to handle the incident. He plans to make a statement Friday on whether the university will ask federal authorities to investigate the case.

"There was no reason for the nooses to be hung like that," Hansen said. "The community is looking at this as a racist act."

I've been to this school before. Take my word for it that the jerk(s) who hung these nooses are NOT representative of the CMU community.

4. More copy cat noose drama

There is so much more copy-cat noose incidents, it's almost like folks are just on edge.
Now these copy-cats know the sign of a noose will distract from all that is important.

I don't think these yahoos have the co-jones to actually hang someone, it's just their sick fantasy. Almost worth putting on "ignore"!

It's not like I, as a minority, am really afraid that there's a lynch mob waiting for me.

Must be these priviliged white racist students ran out of Ipods to listen to or Wii's to play. Someone please give them bored, overindulged morons something to do, before they take their shirts off, make a bonfire, and take turns trying to decide who is going to be their leader.
