Anti-Bush group protests at T-D (Richmond Va "news" paper-about DK'simpeachment bill)
Source: Richmodn Times-Dispatch

About 15 protesters gathered in front of the Richmond Times-Dispatch's downtown offices yesterday afternoon rallying for the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.

The group wanted to bring awareness to a resolution introduced in Congress by Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich, D-Ohio, that would impeach Cheney and then Bush. The resolution accuses Cheney of manipulating intelligence on the presence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, fabricating the connection between Iraq and al-Qaida and violating his constitutional oath and duty for his threatened aggression against Iran.

"If the media won't report these things, we'll come to the media," said protester Christopher Dorsey, among chants to impeach Bush and Cheney to the rhythm of drums.

6. Wasn't just me. Come out on Fridays.
Someone that knows me must have posted this and I thank you. Was my idea to go to RTD, but a committed group of us have been outside Rep Bobby Scott's for the last 18 Fridays. We meet at noon, have a "Honk to Impeach" event and then report back to staff. Scott has never been there during our visits, to my knowledge, though a worker in the same building reported he left from another exit one day we were coming in. Have not gotten a reply to our request for a meeting thus far. So, come to 2nd and Clay Streets on Fridays, but keep in touch with myspace.com/rva4peace because we may move action to a spot with more visibility. Great to hear the honks and great this movement is really moving. Suggest others do same outside Cantor/Forbes/Drake etc. offices.
We did get front page picture in the Richmond Free Press with an article on the third page that was much better "reporting."

7. Was in the RTD on B3 on Nov. 7
Was placed so you could easily miss it. Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean....

4. The Washington Post had it in its standard politics section near the back of the A Section

Personally, I don't blame them either. The big front page story as far as the WP's primary market is concerned was the apparent Dem takeover of the Virginia Senate ( apparent because you know there will be challenges on close races).
