Kuwait says would not take part in any Iran attack
Source: reuters

KUWAIT, Sept 25 (Reuters) - Kuwait said on Tuesday it would not allow its territory to be used for any attack on Iran.

"Iran is a friendly, neighbouring country and it is not possible that we would agree to see it in a difficult position," Sheikh Jaber al-Hamad al-Sabah, Kuwait's defence and interior minister, said at a Ramadan meal.

"Kuwait is not a place that harms its neighbours ... and would not allow Kuwaiti land to be used to assault any country," the official KUNA news agency quoted him as saying.

The United States accuses Iran of trying to develop a nuclear weapon under the guise of a civilian atomic programme. The Islamic Republic says it will use its atomic programme to generate electricity. The standoff has provoked concerns that the volatile Gulf region is headed for another war.

7. LOL! actually, they're CYAing in advance. They have already been asked, and realize
they don't want to be in the middle.

Why refuse a request unless you've been asked?

8. Yup
Yesterday with Iran's figurehead was DEFINITELY NOT a trial balloon. We are currently seeking peaceful resolution of the Iran dilemma. Nothing to see here folks, just move along...

5. Kuwait allows its country to profit off the misery of Iraqis
and allow the US a huge port of entry and military base to keep the death and destruction going at full tilt.

What, the Iraqi people are not their neighbors?
