The Donald: Time for Bush to go into 'hiding'
Source: CNN

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Donald Trump has some advice for President Bush if he wants a Republican to win the White House: Hide.

The business mogul and vocal critic of the Bush administration told CNN's Wolf Blitzer Monday that he thinks the president is a "huge liability" for any Republican seeking the White House. Trump went on to say the best thing Bush can do for his party is to go into "hiding."

see that sob's smirky, smug, arrogant, sociopathic, "nobody's home in his eyes" look again..and hear the lies coming out of his gin hole.

2. Why does Trump think anyone anywhere wants to hear his opinion?
He's a materialistic, second-rate, multiple-bankruptcy businessman who was born into much of his none-too-impressive wealth and over-hyped prestige. He isn't qualified to offer advice to a chimp, much less THE Chimp. Now even his TV show is going down the crapper.

Must go now, before he calls me a big fat loser.

17. Because people DO want to hear what he thinks.
Yeah, he was mean to Rosie and waaaay out of line, not to mention immature.

Yeah, he's materialistic (that's prevalent in America....do you own anything that is not purely for utiliarian purposes? A CD for enjoyment, perhaps? That makes YOU materialistic, too.)

But he's hardly second-rate in the business world, having amassed a fortune and opened up scores of successful businesses.

Still...I'm not sure he's that knowledgeable about politics. But many people like to hear what famous people have to say. Famous people like Alec Baldwin, Jeanine Garofalo, Sean Penn, and yes, Donald Trump.

3. Yeah, but the problem is bush doesn't want to hide.
Republican presidential candidates can't be any more clear: President Bush isn't welcome on the campaign trail.

Competing to succeed him, top GOP candidates Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson and John McCain barely utter Bush's name. They essentially ignore the lame-duck president, or give him only passing credit, as they rail against the status quo and promise to fix problems he hasn't solved.
<snip>

Bush holds the opposite view.

Asked last week whether he is an asset or a liability for Republican candidates, Bush replied: "Strong asset."

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070923/ap_on_el_pr/republicans_bush

Bush isn't about to go into hiding. I believe he really does think he's the greatest of all assets to the GOP.

I hope they have one hell of a difficult time dealing with the monster they've created. :D

It would force Republicans to either denounce him outright or declare allegiance to him.

50. Oh no! He weighs too much for Parcel Post, so I checked out
IPS: 160-lb pkg 2'x2'x6' (he's really not that big)
from Washington, DC to Paraguay (anywhere in Paraguay)
2-3 Day Delivery (too fast really)
$1,177.99 (saving the U.S. a Brazillion Dollars!)
Not counting cost of packaging, but that won't be
much cause we don't need any bubble wrap for his ass.

We won't even have to put an ad in NY Times, cause
DU can cover the cost easy-peasy. This is great.....

44. Vote/Trump
Does anyone here actually think this guy votes?! He knows the game. Voting is for the "little people", as the "Queen of Mean" so aptly put it re: paying taxes. He doesn't vote or pay taxes and I'll bet the barn on it.
As Nicholson said to DeVito in "Cookoo's Nest"..."that ain't a nickel Martini, that's shit".
Yup...Trump is a chump = shit.

31. From Larry King in 1999 when he was thinking of running:
http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/stories/1999/10/08/trump.transcript/index.html?iref=newssearch

KING: Now, let's get into some things. The Reform Party, by its name, means reform. You will be leaving, if you run this -- you believe in, what, the Republican Party I believe?

TRUMP: I'm a registered Republican. I'm a pretty conservative guy. I'm somewhat liberal on social issues, especially health care, et cetera, but I'd be leaving another party, and I've been close to that party.

KING: Why would you leave the Republican Party?

TRUMP: I think that nobody is really hitting it right. The Democrats are too far left. I mean, Bill Bradley, this is seriously left; he's trying to come a little more center, but he's seriously left. The Republicans are too far right. And I don't think anybody's hitting the cord, not the cord that I want hear, and not the cord that other people want to hear, and I've seen it.

Plus, I think there's a great lack of spirit in this country. You know, what happened over the last four years is disgusting, and I just think there's a tremendous lack of spirit, and I think the spirit has to be brought back.

25. Think what you will about Donald Trump, the CNN interview was
in prime time and "The Donald" quite boldly called the schoolyard bully out.
He said Bush needs to hide in a corner, he's a liability to any Republican
Presidential candidate, that he's the worst President ever and the U.S. has gone
from a position of strength to being a laughing stock. Best of all, that the
controversial Venezuelan President "Hugo Chavez is smarter than our President."
Bwhaahahahhahah......

There is a lot of poking and prodding of the bully now and I love it!

read this, and then tell me you can still support Hillary. Folks, Dennis Kucinich is the ONLY real progressive running this go-round, yet all we hear is how "inevitable" President Hillary is. Sorry, but all that gets us is a less-offensive version of the Corporate Corruption Inc. we have running the White House now.

http://www.examiner.com/a-953145~Bush_quietly_advising_Hillary_Clinton__top_Democrats.html

She voted FOR the war. She constantly flip-flops on every vote that comes out, because she wants to ride the fence long enough to get the Democrat nomination, then go back to business as usual in the Iraq occupation. Sorry, that isn't PROGRESSIVE.
