19. How's this for mush:
From MSNBC:

"The most likely scenario, by far, is that by October there will be a new senator from Idaho," Craig spokesman Dan Whiting told the Associated Press.

The only circumstances in which Craig might try to complete his term, Whiting said, would require the overturning by Sept. 30 of his conviction for disorderly conduct in a men's room at the Minneapolis airport, as well as Senate GOP leaders' agreement to restore Craig's committee leaderships posts taken away this week.

for contempt of court on charges of unlawful entry and malicious injury to property. Until VERY recently, her pic was on a local sheriff's web site! But it's gone now, so I suppose the $500 bond has been fulfilled. I guess covering up arrests is something that runs in the family!

29. That point has been mentioned as well. Not that adooptions are suspect in most cases.
What is odd about the Cheif Jutice is his wife was still young and they went out of their way to adopt "irish " children who were blonde and blue eyed and who are biologicaly related. they are actual siblings. And they went to another country to do so.American ofphans weren't up to snuff for cosmetic reasons I suppose.Lord forbid they should adopt a "mixed" child! The children had to be useful as "props apparently! God I hope for the kids sake this is wrong! But ,in the Roberts case, this just looks weird. Not adopting but how they did it!

45. Actually the Roberts children are not related
by blood, just by adoption. They are indeed Irish however. The Roberts' married in 1996 when both were in their 40s, granted not too young to still have had a biologic child, unless his wife, or he, already knew there were fertility issues, but not young either. What I find interesting is that they were able to adopt from Ireland. When my husband and I were beginning our adoption research, I checked on Ireland (my paternal grandparents emigrated from County Roscommon and my mother's people, although much earlier immigrants, came from County Meath and my husband's father's side of the family was from Ireland as well) and at the time (2001 or there abouts) it was extremely difficult to adopt internationally from there. We adopted our daughter from China. For many reasons, a US adoption was not possible for us.

Sen. Craig likely to leave, aide says

By CHARLES BABINGTON, Associated Press Writer 7 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - Sen. Larry Craig has all but dropped any notion of trying to complete his term, and is focused on helping Idaho send a new senator to Washington within a few weeks, his top spokesman said Thursday.

"The most likely scenario, by far, is that by October there will be a new senator from Idaho," Craig spokesman Dan Whiting told the Associated Press.

The only circumstances in which Craig might try to complete his term, Whiting said, would require a prompt overturning of his conviction for disorderly conduct in a men's room at the Minneapolis airport, as well as Senate GOP leaders' agreement to restore Craig's committee leaderships posts taken away this week.

Those scenarios are unlikely, Whiting said.
