NBC(News) Producer Dies in NYC Building Fall
Source: Forbes.com

A former Emmy-winning television producer who worked with Tom Brokaw at NBC News died Monday after falling from his apartment building, police said.

Police initially reported that the producer, Eric R. Wishnie, was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene, but later they said they had located a witness who saw him as he fell from an adjacent building. The medical examiner's office said it had scheduled an autopsy.

NBC News President Steve Capus said in a statement that Wishnie, 44, was "an enormously talented former senior producer at NBC News, who had a hand in some of the most monumental and memorable news stories of our time."

Wishnie produced numerous stories for Brokaw in the Middle East, along with coverage of the Olympic Games in Athens, Sydney and Atlanta and the first North American interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He was found in the street in Greenwich Village at about 3 a.m. Monday, and he died two hours later at a hospital, NBC said.

Hmmm, Brokaw's office got one of those anthrax packages a few years ago.

Now this?

Yep, please pass the tin foil. :tinfoilhat:

that isn't tinfoil at all, havocmom, from a parent thread that might interest many

This post documents the roles that University of Wisconsin-Madison bacteriologists Edwin Fred and Ira L. Baldwin played in CBW.

Frank Olson was a student of Ira Baldwin he also "fell" to his death in NYC (a lot of prominent people associated with black operations were also at UW Madison-that goes beyond coincidence)

30. Think back a bit and one will notice a decided difference in Brokaw's
ah, enthusiasum about doing news as opposed to his nice, fluffy stuff in recent years. I believe an assistant of his contracted anthrax from that package to his office.

I do not believe they ever made an arrest.

And there seems to be a lot of people in positions to know things who fall out of windows and such.

Thanks for the back-up, bob. Always good to have you around for good links.

11. Here's the obligatory excerpt from the CIA assassination manual.
Edited on Tue Jul-31-07 02:25 AM by Usrename
This stuff cannot be repeated too often (emphasis mine):

>>

The following document is an instructional guide on assassination found among the CIA's training files for "Operation PB Success" -- the agency's covert 1954 operation that overthrew the democratically elected government of Jacobo Arbenz in Guatemala in June 1954. The CIA released it to the public on May 23, 1997, in response to a Freedom of Information Act request.

>>

A STUDY OF ASSASSINATION

>>

>>

2. Accidents.

For secret assassination, either simple or chase, the contrived accident is the most effective technique. When successfully executed, it causes little excitement and is only casually investigated.

The most efficient accident, in simple assassination, is a fall of 75 feet or more onto a hard surface. Elevator shafts, stair wells, unscreened windows and bridges will serve. Bridge falls into water are not reliable. In simple cases a private meeting with the subject may be arranged at a properly-cased location. The act may be executed by sudden, vigorous of the ankles, tipping the subject over the edge. If the assassin immediately sets up an outcry, playing the "horrified witness", no alibi or surreptitious withdrawal is necessary. In chase cases it will usually be necessary to stun or drug the subject before dropping him. Care is required to insure that no wound or condition not attributable to the fall is discernible after death.

41. I like the music at the linked site. I also like the straight forward
and common sense approach to assassination. Lot's of good tips and I learned a lot.

For instance, if someone calls me up and wants to meet me about the package I found with evidence implicating covert CIA officials in the 9/11 attacks, don't meet them upstairs at the hotel room, meet them in the well lighted ground floor lobby.

Plus if one always assumes they are the target of an assasination attempt, it, by definition, makes the job harder to do, just in case.

8. What was he working on? Will it be "Coincidence Theory" . . . ?
Just want to mention that we have criminal law based on CONSPIRACY . . . .
So it's naive to suggest that it doesn't happen in America --

Meanwhile, our founders were quite suspicious of possible CONSPIRACY . . .

quote In the (Constitutional) convention George Mason argued that the President might use his pardoning power to "pardon crimes which were advised by himself" or, before indictment or conviction, "to stop inquiry and prevent detection." James Madison responded:

If the President be connected, in any suspicious manner, with any person, and there be grounds to believe he will shelter him, the House of Representatives can impeach him; they can remove him if found guilty... unquote

So . . . let's act like grownups and admit that, indeed, we do have CONSPIRACY in America --
our founders understood that -- and they understood that we needed to take action when CONSPIRACY
was happening at the highest levels of our government.

18. A lot....
people taking swan dives from bridges, buildings, cliffs etc. is pretty common. Some members of Native American tribes used to do use that particular method when they knew their lives were nearing the end.
This guy sounds like he had some personal problems recently. I think there's way too much tin-foil around here at times. Of course that isn't to say sometimes people ARE out to get you. ;)
I think as time goes on we'll find that he had some serious problems and a nose dive from his apartment building appeared to be a viable solution to those problems. But hey, what the hell do I know?

Unfortunately, he struggled with severe depression and other problems that I won't go into. The consensus among those who knew him was that he took his own life.

There is always a slight chance of foul play, but in this case, I think we actually are going a little overboard on the tinfoil.

29. Interesting...
So his wife reported the story of how the big American banks helped fund Hitler's rise to power?

That's really kind of interesting considering how the President's grandfather, Prescott Bush, was investigated for his directorship of both Union Bank of New York and the Hamburg-America Line, a company that provided Nazi propaganda.

"How Bush's Grandfather Helped Hitler's Rise to Power."
http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12271,1312540,00.html

"Bush's Bank Seized by gov't for Trading with The Enemy, 1942"
http://www.truthout.org/docs_03/101903I.shtml

Even Fox News admits it...

"Documents: Bush's grandfather directed bank tied to Nazis"
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,100474,00.html

"Bush Family Funded Hitler"
http://www.georgewalkerbush.net/bushfamilyfundedhitler.htm
"Bush-Nazi Dealings continued Until 1951" (LONG AFTER THE WAR WAS OVER!)
http://www.georgewalkerbush.net/bushnazidealingscontinueduntil1951.htm

NBC's groundbreaking coverage of this story really brought this troubling information into the mainstream discourse. And it is STILL one of the underreported stories in American media during the Bush presidency.

Apparently, the President and his family are still rather touchy about this subject. Makes me wonder if NBC was planning a new feature story with the headline: "ATTENTION AMERICA! THE BUSHES ARE NAZIS!"

So I guess we're all tinfoil hats now...

42. Timmy5835 your post resembles the kind of reframing found in this article
"Reframing Perception-Space (P-space): A Quick Overview of a Unifying Concept" by Col. Michael McKim USAFR (ret)
http://www.au.af.mil/au/awc/awcgate/awc/reframing-p-space.htm

The linked article clearly reflects the influence of, among other things, the First Earth Battalion cult in the US military and the intelligence community and has been adapted by perception management professionals.

Or we could utilize the old "APA six key words" approach: fired, drug, alcohol, depression, failed, marriage and apply a little humanistic relativism.

Respectfully, that's just my opinion though. I could certainly be wrong about a few things when I read your post and didn't see a

:sarcasm: thing.

Yes, I could be wrong and my friends in this thread could all be wrong. And what we've been DUing over the years by looking for answers and the truth regardless of what is reported has led to certain approaches based on what we've learned.

47. Looks like suicide or a drunken fall
An Emmy-winning TV news producer who lost his job with NBC because of pills and booze plummeted to his death yesterday from a West Village rooftop, police and media sources said.

Police said they were looking into whether he fell or jumped from the three-story building at 444 Sixth Ave. Foul play was not suspected. Inside his apartment, cops found a dozen vodka bottles, a multitude of empty pill bottles and mail that hadn't been opened for months.

In September 2006, Wishnie was either fired or forced to resign from NBC after his bosses found out he was addicted to alcohol and pain pills, media sources said. Fratangelo, his estranged wife, could not be reached for comment.

An employee at a nearby wine shop said Wishnie had been a regular customer until about a month ago, when he told the newsman he would no longer sell him alcohol.

"He looked really weak like he was giving up on everything," the store employee said. "I told him he looked terrible. He said, 'Thanks for your concern.'"
