Bush says Wolfowitz seeking what's best for bank
Source: Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush said on Thursday that World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz has an interest in doing what is best for the bank, but declined to comment on his future at the institution.

As the World Bank's board was meeting behind closed doors to discuss a possible deal in which Wolfowitz would resign, Bush said, "I regret that it's come to this."

"All I can tell you is Paul Wolfowitz has an interest in what's best for the bank," Bush said at a news conference with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

3. Bush is right on this. Wolfowitz is doing what's best for the bank,
his own bank, which benefits from the loot he stashes in his personal accounts.

7. I can tell you exactly what that means. Wolfie claimed he had enough information on the other
bank officers to "fuck" them... what he's doing is blackmailing them right now, and they're negotiating the settlement and terms. What's best for the bank is not to be blackmailed, according to bush.

14. Well, there's a "Candid Camera" moment.
Bush: "I regret that it's come to this".

You regret it. So do we.
It seems that every day, we have to endure more Monkey/Zoo type Hi-jinks from Your Guy.
This is starting to resemble a Circus more than the White House.

Sorry George. There is no Soap Opera star that could be asinine/dysfunctional than your buddy.

If he was seeking what was best for the bank, he'd leave without his severance pay and he's pay backe every dime he ever collected from them for being a miserable failure as its leader. :grr:
