PARIS (AP) - Six airline flights between Paris and Los Angeles were canceled at the U.S. Embassy's urging because of terrorism fears, the French government and Air France said Wednesday.

The flights scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday were called off because of information obtained "in the framework of the French-American fight against terrorism," the French prime minister's office said.

that the US was going to claim that one of those planes had been
hijacked and they would shoot it down...you know, cause it was
a "french plane"... :eyes:

So they couldn't do a through search and scrutinize the passenger list? They had to cancel the flights? I think they had to justify the orange bump and this is the easy way to justify the warnings....so they only inconvenienced a thousand French passengers...what's the big deal?
