I rejected offer to murder Gus Boulis, witness claims
Source: miami herald

A potential witness in the Konstantinos ''Gus'' Boulis gang-like slaying case said he was offered $100,000 to gun down the Miami Subs founder and SunCruz owner, court records show.

The cooperating witness turned down the offer, but Boulis turned up dead anyway. According to a deposition from prosecution witnesses, the main defendant in the case told the witness this about the murder: ``It was taken care of.''

The confidential informant, who came forward while involved in an unrelated federal case, told interrogators in New York state he was approached by Anthony ''Big Tony'' Moscatiello, at his Queens, New York, home and asked to kill Boulis, the records show.

now about this unrelated federal case

At the time of the murder, Boulis was fighting for control of the company with Adam Kidan, a Long Island businessman who had known Moscatiello for years.

. . .

Kidan and lobbyist Jack Abramoff lied to lenders to obtain a $60 million bank loan to buy Boulis' SunCruz Casinos fleet in 2000. Abramoff was sentenced to almost six years in prison for the fraudulent purchase of SunCruz.

What major crime isn't Abramoff somehow attached.

4. IF they mention it . . .
They'll also prominently feature some mouthpiece's unfounded declaration that Bush's connections don't mean nothin', he didn't know Jack Abramoff at all (those photos and guest visits to the contrary), and quit askin' questions, you're helping the terrorists!

But otherwise, expect radio silence on the issue. Unless they first walk through the Church of GOP litany about Vince Foster's suicide, cocaine running through the Mena airport, and other unfounded articles of blind faith for the repressive right.

9. Local newspapers are too busy accepting ads from the gaming industry
and the tribal criminals and all the rest of the corrupted networks-but yeah, many of US noticed these connections long ago and were targeted for special treatment by these thugs and murderers overseen by loyal Bushies.

7. Are these new people? About a year ago, there was a witness
Edited on Fri Apr-27-07 01:17 PM by higher class
who had information about the restaurant (coffee shop?) death. I keep thinking about this unsolved link to the death of someone who was connected to Abramoff and when they would have some breakthrough. Hope this is it.

Second question: What Abramoff is in jail for now is the purchase of Sun Cruz? But, he is still being investigated for payolas and deals? Is that true?

10. Your question number two
Edited on Fri Apr-27-07 01:54 PM by Robbien
Why Abramoff is in jail

INVESTIGATION — ABRAMOFF PLEADED GUILTY TO THREE FEDERAL FELONY COUNTS: Abramoff pleaded guilty in federal court on Jan. 3, 2006, “to conspiracy, mail fraud and tax evasion.”

INVESTIGATION — ABRAMOFF PLEADED GUILTY TO TWO MORE FELONY COUNTS: Abramoff “pleaded guilty in federal court…to conspiracy and wire fraud stemming from his 2000 purchase of a gambling boat fleet .”

what they are still looking into

INVESTIGATION — ABRAMOFF INVESTIGATED BY THE FBI, JUSTICE DEPARTMENT, AND INTERIOR DEPARTMENT: “The FBI, the Justice Department’s public integrity section and the Interior Department inspector general are investigating Abramoff’s lobbying practices, focusing on tribal clients that paid him and a public relations associate $82 million between 2001 and 2003. Among the areas investigators are examining, former Abramoff associates and tribal representatives said, are whether legislative favors were granted in Congress in exchange for tribal campaign contributions, and whether Abramoff opened doors on Capitol Hill by wooing congressional aides with the promise of jobs, as well as tickets to sporting events, trips, meals and other gifts.”

plus many different contributions

8. Didn't someone on Long Island buy "Dukestir's" Original Yacht?
So that Mitch Wade needed to buy him a new one?

Was that Kidan or maybe an associate of his?
