Iraq says Britain violated sovereignty
Source: Associated Press

BAGHDAD Iraq is complaining about a British-led raid on a police intelligence headquarters in southern Iraq last month.

Baghdad accuses the British of overstepping their authority and violating Iraq's sovereignty as well as a U-N Security Council resolution.

The government also calls on the commander of the U-S-led Multi-National Forces in Iraq to "officially apologize to the Iraqi people, the residents of Basra and the Interior Ministry."

On March Fourth, British forces raided the National Iraqi Intelligence Agency building in the southern city of Basra and said they had captured an alleged death squad leader and found 30 prisoners with signs of torture. The rest of the prisoners in the facility escaped, but Britain says that was unintentional.

1. Britain was nowhere NEAR Iraq's sovereignty when that attack occurred!
That line worked so well with Iran...

It's almost comical, Iraq having illusions of sovereignty.
Doubtful it will ever fully regain it.

3. can you hear crickets being made by the lapdog media?
the problem with all these corrections to the official stories pushed like bad dope by the criminal news networks drug cartel etc is that..they never happen, and the herd goes to bed thinking 'daddy's watching the house' etc when he's really selling the joists and nails etc after all the removables have been pawned out of the back door!
