BAGHDAD, March 7 (Reuters) - Three U.S. soldiers were killed and another was
wounded by a roadside bomb near Baghdad on Wednesday, the U.S. military said.

The soldiers were conducting a patrol to clear roadside bombs from a frequently
travelled route northwest of the capital when they were hit by an explosion,
the U.S. military said in a statement. It gave no further details.

2. I didn't know these soldiers, but they were our neighbors, our friends,
our husbands, sons, fathers, co-workers, our fellow Americans.

And they died for no good reason because of George W. Bush's dangerous ego.

4. Maybe We Should Lay Some Guilt On Libby.....
everyday more and more of our soldiers get killed in this senseless 'so-called' war. It has been sad and will continue to be sad for all those (including their extended families and loved ones)as this travesty goes on. I feel for these people and honor them for their service.

But.......

We should try and lay a guilt trip on Libby to get him to flip and out these criminals in the WH.

The deaths of these and any future soldiers are on Libby's back. He has the power to stop this - if only he would sing.

Come on Libby - do the right thing.

Look what these criminals did to you and your family. Do you really trust them to give you a pardon. Strike a deal with Fitz and the Dems now - put an end to this.

I suspect he is like his bosses, doesn't have a clue as to what they have done. Ego and arrogance overtakes logic.

9. He had a big smirk on his face as he left the courthouse yesterday,
based on some fleeting footage I saw from CNN.

6. Nine yesterday and three more today. Stack 'em high junior

Grass Bush

Pile the bodies high in Austerlitz and Waterloo Iraq
Shovel them under and let me work--
I am the grass; bush; I cover all.

And pile them high in Gettyburg Baghdad
And pile them high in Ypres and Vedum Mossoul and Al Fallaujah

Two years, ten years, and passengers ask the conductor:
What place is this?

I am the grass bush.
Let me work.

8. Those NINE deaths got lost in the Libby verdict yesterday.
I only know personally one young (19 yrs.) fellow over there and I relate each one of these deaths to what could happen to him. Many on DU have family members over there and we know they die a little each day until they return.

Along with our pain over the troops that are doing the sacrificing there is a country that is being destroyed daily all in the name of bush democracy.
