(CBS/AP) She was sometimes compared to Marilyn Monroe and now the two have something else in common, besides blond bombshell looks.

WCBS-TV in New York reports that while searching Anna Nicole Smith's hotel room late Thursday afternoon, investigators found two key pieces of evidence: illegal narcotics and prescription medications.

but all that stress in someones life can cause someone to drink or do drugs..especially if they are already chronically depressed. It isn't really something to laugh about.

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -- The mother of former Playboy playmate and model Anna Nicole Smith blamed drugs Friday for her daughter's sudden death that ended an extraordinary tabloid life at just 39.

"I think she had too many drugs, just like Danny (Smith's late son)," her mother, Vergie Arthur, told ABC's "Good Morning America" on Friday. "I tried to warn her about drugs and the people she hung around with. She didn't listen.

"She was too drugged up."

But think about it, while I agree that drugs had their part in taking her down she never would have achieved the fame she had without them. So, while I think she would be alive today without the drugs you also would never be talking about her without those drugs, crazy but true. what a deceptive headline. isn't the crux of the story there were LEGAL drugs (mostly cold medication) found in her hotel, NONE in her stomach, and NO evidence of chronic drug abuse????

but to clarify this would require some decency and class...i suspect you won't clarify.
