N Korea threatens to escalate nuclear capability
North Korea on Monday threatened to increase its nuclear capability if talks with the US were delayed, raising fears that protracted diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis could be giving Pyongyang time to build more bombs........

......... delaying tactics would only result in compelling to steadily increase its nuclear deterrent force,” said a commentary in the Rodong Sinmun, a state newspaper.

The comments followed reports last week that US satellites had detected smoke rising from North Korea's nuclear reprocessing plant at Yongbyon, suggesting the facility had restarted following several months of inactivity.

1. N Korea
It was evident in the early 90's , from surveilance, covert and otherwise, that North Korea was on track to developing a nuclear capabilty despite the efforts of the world community. There is no doubt that the "ball" was dropped by the then current U.S. administration in dealing with this threat. In fact Kim Il Jong repeatedly humilated the U.S. and other nations' attempts to freeze or stall N.Korea's progress towards the reality and threat that exists now. All things past being PAST, how do we reasonably deal with this situation; where the leader of a country who'se people starve at the expense of fielding a 1 million man army, has now at least 3 nuclear tipped missels, capable of reaching Japan, Hawaii, and the westernmost section of the mainland U.S.?

4. I don't believe NK has any intention of "attacking" anyone -

. . But that Cowboy in the WH has proven the "wisdom" of disarming.

In over a year, between the UN and Bu$co's gang, they have found "squat" in Iraq

And blew the country to sh*t in the meantime

Disarming WON'T stop the USA from "doing NK

NK has seen that, and they are praying that keeping nukes will keep the Agressors at bay.

Hope they are right.
