Parents of teen missing in Aruba sue brothers
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- The parents of an Alabama teen who disappeared last year while on a trip to Aruba with classmates filed a wrongful-death suit Thursday against two brothers who were once suspects in the case -- a day after the brothers sued the "Dr. Phil" show.

The lawsuit, filed on behalf of Beth Twitty and Dave Holloway, claims that Deepak and Satish Kalpoe "intentionally, negligently, wantonly" caused fatal injuries to their daughter, according to court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The couple is seeking a jury trial and unspecified damages.

1. Shouldn't the suit be against the state and school district, both
of which seemed to have not had supervision for these kids?

3. Or maybe they don't care about winning the suit . . .
but they want the opportunity to question them under US rules!

4. That suit was filed in Los Angeles......
....it means squat in Aruba. As I understand it....those two guys don't have to come to the US and appear and be questioned if they don't want to. And even if Twitty gets a judgement - chances are she'll never see any money, cause as I said - it means squat in Aruba.

7. You are missing something huge . . .
The Brothers filed their lawsuit first (in Los Angeles) which means that Los Angeles now has jurisdiction. The Twitty's filed their lawsuit based upon the Kalpo's lawsuit. From the stand point of the Twitty's, I doubt they care about the money -- just the opportunity to question the Kalpo brothers in the US. If the Brothers intend win their lawsuit, they will have to come to the US to be questioned themselves. The Kalpo Brothers have F'ed up by filing a lawsuit anywhere in the US. And I say the Twitty's should hammer them!

6. Miz Tw*tty, your 15 minutes are up.
No amount of legal assholery you now wish to inflict upon others can make up for your bad parenting. YOU sent your minor child to a foreign land unsupervised. Betcha wish you could take a mulligan on that decision, don'tcha?

8. Her 15 minutes are NEVER up unless Natalee comes home.
I can't believe that the media dropped the ball on this story and let it fade from the headlines.
