2. GREAT POST.
Your remembering our fallen actually gives me hope somehow.

Is that strange?

Yesterday was Pearl Harbor Day; it's good to remember.

Thanks.

3. I just called my local CBS affiliate about thier weekend...
reporting of only 307 deaths. I was raging against some poor guy answering the phone in the news dept. about the real numbers...he couldn't find the transripts from the show, he was actually mad at me for challenging the reporting...sheesh. Thanks Don. I've vented, I feel better.

4. 448...
update at 6:00 AM....

<Meanwhile, three U.S. soldiers died and one was injured in an accident when an embankment collapsed beneath their armored personnel carriers north of Baghdad, the military said Tuesday. The soldiers belonged to the 2nd Infantry Division's 3rd Brigade.

The deaths bring to 448 the number of U.S. soldiers who have died in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion on March 20. Of those, 308 have died as a result of hostile action.>

....probably many more than that!

5. we are holding a Black Vigil every Friday at Noon
with pics of every soldier, including my son and stepson..who are at risk of going .
and we are standing silent, with all the pics of the dead soldiers....right in front of the post office here in town..
A little wake up call for the cheery Holiday shoppers.
the sign will read
IS IT WORTH IT????

The spokesperson for our group is a Reverend. Otherwise, we will be silent.
