Results of the final Ohio Poll from the University of Cincinnati predict Democratic victories on Tuesday for major offices.
In the race for Ohio governor, the poll shows Democrat U.S. Rep. Ted Strickland defeating Republican Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell 59.1 percent to 36.8 percent, with 4.1 percent voting for other candidates.
The same poll shows Democrat U.S. Rep. Sherrod Brown defeating Republican incumbent Sen. Mike DeWine in the race for DeWine's U.S. Senate seat, 55.7 percent to 44.3 percent.
The survey interviewed 1,074 probable voters between Wednesday and Sunday. The poll has a margin of error or plus or minus 3 percent.
