U.S. helicopter crashes in Iraq, two killed.
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Two U.S. soldiers were killed when a helicopter crashed in Salahaddin province north of Baghdad on Monday, the military said.

"No activity fire was observed in the area at that time," a U.S. statement said, adding that the crash was under investigation.

There was no further information on the cause of the crash or the exact location.

The province of Salahaddin, whose capital is Saddam Hussein's hometown of Tikrit, was put under curfew on Sunday morning to avoid violence sparked by the death sentence issued against the former Iraqi president on Sunday.

7. I think we all care
just at a loss...what do we say day after day after day. :( Our guys, Canadians, Brits, etc and the countless Iraqi civilians day in and day out. I post them as well, just to remind everyone and so do others...but they usually sink.

8. Yeah, I know you're right.
Still, it's sad to see these topics sink. It gives me that feeling sometimes.

9. According to Bush, these GIs died for OIL
Bush is saying today that we must remain in Iraq so that terrorists cannot control the oil. Based on that assertion, nearly 2,900 GIs and over 685,000 Iraqis have died so that we have cheap gas to fill the tanks of our SUVs.

The crowds that cheered Bush when he said we were fighting for oil did not care to notice how obscene Bush's statement was, nor cared to know.
