Iraqi kidnapped journalist found dead

Baghdad, Oct 10, (VOI) – The Journalistic Freedoms Observatory said on Tuesday that Iraqi journalist Azad Mohammed Hassan was found killed after he was kidnapped by an armed group a week ago.

Hassan worked as a correspondent to Dar al-Salam Radio.

Dar al-Salam Radio is run by the Sunni Muslim Clerics Commission.

The toll of journalists killed in Iraq since 2003 reached 139.

The Journalistic Freedoms Observatory is non-governmental organization formed of Iraqi journalists to monitor the violations and aggressions against media workers

2. The total of ALL killed has to be a large number.

I would bet more so then in any other modern war.
