Cubans Remember Airliner Bombing Victims
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Filed at 4:34 p.m. ET

HAVANA (AP) -- Ondina Perez grew teary Friday as she recalled the day 30 years ago when a Cuban airliner exploded in flight over the island of Barbados, killing her pilot brother and the other 72 people aboard.

Three decades later, Perez and other family members of those killed want the man sought in connection with the explosion, Luis Posada Carriles, to face trial.

''It is sad to see all these children, grandchildren, parents, without their loved ones today,'' said Perez, who was among the victims' relatives who made a pilgrimage to Havana's Colon Cemetery, some hoisting large posters with black-and-white photographs of their dead loved ones.

4. That was Orlando Bosch that 41 pardoned from an immigration exclusion.

That pardon allowed Bosch to stay in the US.

He gets all the perks offered to Cuban "exiles" by the US government. (Instant work visa, green card, social security, food stamps, sec 8 housing w/a $41,000 income exemption for Cubans only, etc, etc..)

Also, Elian's drunken uncle allowed the CANF lawyers representing the Miami family's claim to select Orlando Bosch to be Elain's pediatrician (Bosch's other profession). Elian was sitting on Bosch's shoulder when he was waving the congressional subpoena that Dan Burton (coauthor of the Helms-Burton law - the most strict part of the embargo on Cuba) issued so the INS couldn't remove the boy and return him to his dad.

5. Absolutely unbearable. DU'ers may remember reading or hearing Janet
Reno's people had determined there were Cuban terrorists coming and going from that house, and that's one reason they wanted to take all caution not to just walk up to the door in the middle of the day and take the kid back from his illegal hostage situation with that grubby crew of scummy criminals who had decided they were surely above the law.

We heard there were rough customers in the houses surrounding the Gonzalez home, as well.

It's so comforting to know that the Miami City Commissioners created an annual Orlando Bosch Day, to celebrate this bomber/mass murderer.

No doubt they'll create one for Luis Posada Carriles, as well. Sick bastards.
