Rasmussen Poll: Bush Approval 39%

The President's job approval among American adults fell a point
today to 39% making it the first drop below 40% since early August.
Fifty-eight percent (58%) disapprove of the way the President is
performing his job.

And with the Foley Scandal and the tidal wave of publicity the new
Woodward book is receiving, the fun has just begun.

This poll today shows an 11 point negative swing for Georgie. It
would seem that Karl Rove's 9-11 pandering had little staying power,
even for this notoriously Republican poll.

7. I live and work around a lot of core supporters of Bush.

Many are just not open to any input. When the facts are place in front of them they just look at you like 'you're trying to trick me'. Watch some Fox news and that's what re-enforces them.


Oh... by the way. Rev Dobson said on Fox yesterday that only 2 Democrats voted for the Patriot Act. (only two voted against it).

10. We have two parties.

The reality is that each party has an electoral base of 40%. Going into this election, Mr. Bush's approval will be no higher than 40% and his disapproval no lower than 55%.

With a two party system, we most certainly can gain the majorities in the House and popular vote. The Senate is another story, though it is looking more and more that we could get 51 seats.

OH WOW!!! Ya mean it's been 2 WHOLE MONTHS since it was below 40%? He was on some sort of a roll. For 2 ENTIRE MONTHS, only 60% of the country thought he SUCKED. That's quite an achievement.

I would be pretty excited if only 60% of my clients thought I was doing a horrible job on their taxes.

They have more dirt on Representatives and Senators within their own Party (R) than that of the Opposition Party. However, they are making strides in closing the gap. The warrantless wiretapping had been focused on *all* of Dear Leaders political enemies. It's safe to say that almost everyone, save for perhaps Kucinich and Conyers, have been SILENCED in one way or another by a phone call or a visit from an RNC operative.

The Republican National Committee is very much like "The Mob" in that they RULE all sides by Fear, Black-Mail and Pay-offs.

The only way to counter this corruption may be to Vote in NEW BLOOD. That will take at least a decade and in order to work, the warantless wiretapping Executive power must be rescinded.
