Democrats cite Woodward book in criticizing Bush's Iraq actions

WASHINGTON — Democratic leaders today used excerpts from a new book by Bob Woodward to unleash a scathing attack on President Bush's handling of the war in Iraq.

Woodward's 537-page book on the administration's handling of the war, State of Denial, , describes the administration as beset by infighting, according to The New York Times, which obtained a copy and reported on its contents today. The book officially is released Monday.

According to the Times, Woodward writes that the White House ignored an urgent warning in September 2003 from a top Iraq adviser who said that thousands of additional U.S. troops were desperately needed to quell the insurgency there.

...

Sen. Carl Levin, D-Ill., said today that it is "deeply troubling that that state of denial continues to this day. If the president refuses to see problems in Iraq, he's not going to see ways to change the dynamic in Iraq."

Levin, joined by several senators at a news briefing on the book, says Bush "has got to end his stubborn insistence that everything is going just fine in Iraq."

1. We Fall Right Into Their Game
Stupid Democrats. Kissing up to the enemy again.

BOB WOODWARD IS NOT ON YOUR SIDE!!! It makes me sick that we are proping this phony baloney up, when it is clear whose side he's really on. Present publication be damned.

Anyways, I still have no desire to buy his book, or hear about it. He's become irrelevant, and I'd rather listen to his former partner Carl.

3. The question begs...Is Tony Snow perpetuating the LIE?
would he be prepared to back up his response under oath;
knowing he would go to jail for perjury?

“There’s a whole lot of stuff here melts like cotton candy,” http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15063982/page/2/

:rofl: I love it that their stenographer has apparently turned on their incompetent butts!

Going to be fun reconciling this with their previous praise and shilling for Woodward's first two books.
