2 relatives of new Saddam judge killed
Spet 29, 2006

BAGHDAD, Iraq - The brother-in-law and nephew of the new judge in Saddam Hussein's genocide trial were gunned down Friday morning in Baghdad, police said. Kadhim Abdul-Hussein and his son Karrar were fatally shot in their car by unidentified assailants in the western Ghazaliya neighborhood, police 1st Lt. Thaer Mahmoud said.

It was not immediately clear if they were targeted because they were related to Judge Mohammed Oreibi al-Khalifa, who took over the Saddam trial last week. Sectarian attacks that have been plaguing Baghdad.

2. Saddam is a criminal who should have been sent to the Hague.
But, Bush and Repubs don't like the Hague and International Courts, so they decided to do it like it was in the old West - lots of guns and killing and, in the end, a lynching or two.

4. The UN had there chance
If the UN would have backed us from the start. Saddam would be at the Hague. I feel that Saddam should be tried in Iraq because he should answer to the people he oppressed for years. The same thing happens in the US as well when gang members kill key witnesses in the murder trial.
