(CT)Protesters attack Bush policies
~snip~

As Bush's limousine made its way to a fundraiser on Meadow Road, the dissenters lofted their signs, but the tinted windows didn't open a crack.

Among the several hundred people lining the motorcade route yesterday were protesters determined to show their opposition to the war in Iraq.

Anne Gallaway, a Stamford resident who arrived at 10:30 a.m., plastered a half-dozen anti-Bush slogans to a posterboard, and criticized Rep. Christopher Shays, R-Conn., for falling into line with Bush's policies.

"Our country is less safe now," Gallaway, 64, said as she stood near Sound Beach Avenue and Wesskum Wood Road.

3. let's not be so sure with latest Bill Clinton-is-to-blame-for-OBL smear
This is the latest swiftboat-smear campaign against a high-ranking Dem. i believe it's a diversion from the war in Iraq. If the repukes can keep talking about how "angry" Bill Clinton is and about his Chris Wallace interview, they can keep the country's eyes off iraq.

4. The reporting of day to day events in Iraq has dropped off for a while.
Clinton will likely state his case on the Sunday talk circuit.
