ARG Poll: Bush Approval 38%
September 22, 2006

George W. Bush's job approval ratings have not received
a significant boost from August even though Americans are
more apt to say the national economy and their personal
financial situations are getting better.

Bush Job Approval Ratings

Overall 38% Approve 57% Disapprove Und 5%
Economy 33% Approve 61% Disapprove Und 6%

18. folks simply not interested in politics.
Those that only care about local things, and aren't interested in what's going on beyond their fence. I dare say that's close to a majority of US population (reading from average voter turnout).

8. Polls lie, it's all bullshit
Surveys, etc., these are all bogus. Don't trust any of them, esp. since a firm in CT was busted last week for fudging results.

The only thing that stands between the truth and lies with polling techniques are ethics.

9. Last night MSNBC was trumpeting 45%...
...three polls, sorry in advance, don't remember what they were. I believe the numbers were 38%, 40%, and 45%.

13. It was 44%
Gallup and LAT/Bloomberg have him up at 44%, while CBS has him at 37%. Harris and ARG have him at 38%, and SUSA has him at 39%.
