Musharaff Reveals New Bin Laden Intelligence

For the first time, Pakistani President Pervez Musharaff has revealed that his government may know the general whereabouts of Osama bin Laden.

Speaking at a meeting in New York earlier this week, Musharaff conceded that bin Laden may well be in his country, according to people who heard his comments.

"We believe he is somewhere between Bajaur, Pakistan, and the province of Kunar in Afghanistan," he said at a meeting connected to his appearance at the United Nations.

...

Musharaff told the New York audience that bin Laden "could be in either Pakistan or Afghanistan."

6. Surprise, surprise.
A two-fer. The Saddam Trial and execution, now this. The MSM will cover it non-stop to the exclusion of all else except Bush strutting and smirking -- it'll go on for weeks until election day.

8. I read an article in the Pak Times that got the lead on a story b4

anyone else did. (this was in 2004) It was about the location of OBL and their website was the first to post the information (according to my google searches). Funny thing is, they cited their source as the Pentagon but the information supposedly was coming from Pak.

12. He will not give him up at all.Remember that Musharaff signed a

treaty with the taliban promising not to interfere with them or with Osama bin Missing.

In addition most of the people of the country view bin Ladin as a hero and Musharaff would be deposed and hung if he were to go after bin Ladin or to let foreign troop go after him. Don't think he would want that.

18. The Pakistan-Afghanistan border is 1,400 miles long
That's a lot of area he could be in, and now Pakistan has no military or police force to patrol most of it.

22. Pfft
Please.

Musharraf would never give up bin laden. His cash cow would be gone, he would be killed seconds later by his countrymen, and his country would dissolve into civil war.

Bin laden may have in fact been right where he just described, but you think he would be there 10 seconds after the word gets out?

This is such a fucking fraud, anyone buying it should be kicked in the fellas.

We should be pinching Pakistan economically, making it painful for them to host him so we can smoke him out and kill him.

Instead, we partner up with his guardian. Brilliant, Chimp!

Bin Laden will NEVER be caught with a Repube in the WH. He is just too useful.
