Olympic Security Also Facing State Charges of Unlawfully Withholding Overtime Pay, Could Result in Millions of Dollars in Liability
Alleged Lawbreaking Security Contractor Protects Seattle City Hall, Seattle Municipal Tower, Justice Center, Public Safety Building, PSB Plaza, Seattle- Tacoma Airport

SEATTLE, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, more federal charges were filed against Olympic Security Services, Inc., a private company contracted to provide security to the City of Seattle including Seattle City Hall, Seattle Municipal Tower and Seattle-Tacoma Airport. These charges are the third in a series alleging a pattern of attempts by Olympic Security to silence private security officers' freedom of speech and restrict their rights to organize.

A security officer contracted to protect Seattle Municipal Tower has alleged Olympic Security interfered with workers' attempts to discuss security matters.

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is already investigating Olympic Security and CB Richard Ellis, the property management company that oversees operations at Seattle Municipal Tower over a separate allegation that the companies are violating the rights of private security officers to discuss workplace safety issues.

Olympic Security also faces state charges for a separate allegation that the Tukwila-based security company has unlawfully withheld overtime pay from potentially hundreds of workers -- a charge that could result in millions of dollars in liability.
