CONGRESSIONAL RACE: GOP files complaint over votes (Reid aide)
Can anyone tell me the name of an unethical GOP House member? I know there have been a few. I need to write a LTE fast! Thanks!

Clark County authorities are investigating whether Democratic congressional candidate Tessa Hafen broke Nevada law when she lived in Virginia as a Senate staff member but continued to vote in Nevada.

The inquiry was prompted by a complaint the state Republican Party submitted to county election officials.
County counsel Mary-Anne Miller confirmed that the allegation is being looked into but said it's far from clear that Hafen did anything illegal.

"There isn't a case per se; we read the complaint and sent a letter to Tessa Hafen asking her to respond," Miller said.

"It seemed enough to raise our concerns."

The complaint does not challenge Hafen's current residency, her eligibility to be on the ballot or her current ability to vote in Nevada.

It alleges that her true legal residence was in Virginia during the eight years she worked as a staff member for Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev. Hafen, a native of Henderson, moved back to the state in February.

1. This is simple
did she have an home or apartment in Nev during those 8 years. If so she is a Nev resident, if not then they are probably right she is an Va resident.

2. I do not know about
Ms. Hafen's situation; however, a good retort may be why Darth Cheney, who had lived in Texas for MANY years, was allowed to regain residency and voting rights in Wyoming so he could help steal this country in 2000! Just a thought.
