5. I'm so sick and tired, of being sick and tired.
As my head pounds the top of my desk, i can't get the thought of those kids out of my head. Two more years of this stupidity and the numbers keep going up, this shakes my faith to the bone.

12. It's ain't called "The Long War" for nothin'.
"Generational commitment" makes it at least a 25 year-long invasion/occupation. If you're 50, welcome to the rest of your life expectancy.

Iraq suicide blast kills 2 U.S. soldiers at Army outpost

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A suicide truck bomb hit a U.S. Army outpost Thursday in Baghdad, killing two American soldiers and leaving 25 wounded, the U.S. military said.

One soldier was killed at the scene of the attack, while the second died of his wounds at a hospital, doctors at a U.S. combat hospital said.

The division's commander, Maj. Gen. J.D. Thurman, visited the wounded soon after the attack. (Watch the emotional scene as mass casualties arrive at a combat hospital -- 2:15)

A member of the 4th Infantry Division said that some of the wounded soldiers had been resting at the outpost before they were to go back out on patrol.

There is a link to video on the way to hospital.

10. Losing control of Iraq before the election....
The Iraqis, and all the other "focus" groups that Bush has managed to concentrate in Iraq post- "shock and awe," are probably going to be ratcheting up the firepower against US occupied forces before the election.

... alter the Geneva Conventions. Fight them over there instead of here. Use our military as target practice for terrorists.

I am absolutely sickened by this horrible turn of events. Saw it on CNN, and it moved me to tears.

29. What Braindead Dumb Fuck......
Allowed more than 30 US troops to congregate outside a fortified position??? At that point they may have become the highest priority target in all of Iraq....and know this-an infantry trained E-4 would have had his ass chewed OFF if he even allowed this to happen in a training exercise....Some stupid sonofabitch NEEDS to be court-martialed.

Grass Bush

Pile the bodies high in Austerlitz and Waterloo Iraq
Shovel them under and let me work--
I am the grass; bush; I cover all.

And pile them high in Gettyburg Baghdad
And pile them high in Ypres and Vedum Mossoul and Al Fallaujah

Two years, ten years, and passengers ask the conductor:
What place is this?

I am the grass bush.
Let me work.
