WASHINGTON (AFX) - Syria's embassy in Washington has accused the United States of fueling extremism, terrorism and anti-US sentiment in the Middle East, following a foiled attack on the US embassy in Damascus.

1. can't argue with that point much
when bashir took over for his dad, i had some hope for syria. we should have jumped on improving our relations with syria like a duck on a june bug.

if only i were president... i'd get assassinated in one month.

2. but that is exactly what the WH argues!---their policies do NOT fuel
terrorism.
