Bush speech gives ABC more '9/11' headaches
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003119417

George Bush could cross paths with "The Path to 9/11."

It appears ABC is considering scheduling a 20-minute break during the second night of its controversial miniseries on the East Coast to accommodate a televised presidential address scheduled for Monday.

The network specified that plan in a daily programming listing it e-mailed to the media, but an ABC spokeswoman contradicted the listing, explaining that options are still being discussed and a final determination as to what its Monday lineup will be has yet to be made.

The White House had all the broadcasters scurrying Friday to reschedule its primetime lineups for Monday to make room for Bush, who is slated to give a speech at 9 p.m. ET concerning the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

3. Tinfoi question, is that the time ABC was going to say "fiction not fact"?
ABC is saying they will announce that PT911 is fictionalized, perhaps during the "bush moment"?

16. Letter to Thomas Kean from Sibel Edmonds
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Front_Page/FH05Aa01.html

Dear Chairman Kean:

It has been almost three years since the terrorist attacks on September 11 <2001>, during which time we, the people, have been placed under a constant threat of terror and asked to exercise vigilance in our daily lives. Your commission, the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks upon the United States, was created by law to investigate "facts and circumstances related to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001" and to "provide recommendations to safeguard against future acts of terrorism", and has now issued its "9-11 Commission Report". You are now asking us to pledge our support for this report, its recommendations, and implementation of these recommendations, with our trust and backing, our tax money, our security, and our lives. Unfortunately, I find your report seriously flawed in its failure to address serious intelligence issues that I am aware of, which have been confirmed, and which as a witness to the commission, I made you aware of. Thus I must assume that other serious issues that I am not aware of were in the same manner omitted from your report. These omissions cast doubt on the validity of your report and therefore on its conclusions and recommendations. Considering what is at stake, our national security, we are entitled to demand answers to unanswered questions, and to ask for clarification of issues that were ignored and/or omitted from the report. I, Sibel Edmonds, a concerned American citizen, a former FBI translator, a whistleblower, a witness for a United States congressional investigation, a witness and a plaintiff for the Department of Justice inspector general investigation, and a witness for your own 9-11 Commission investigation, request your answers to, and your public acknowledgement of, the following questions and issues:

After the terrorist attacks of September 11 we, the translators at the FBI's largest and most important translation unit, were told to slow down, even stop, translation of critical information related to terrorist activities so that the FBI could present the United States Congress with a record of "extensive backlog of untranslated documents", and justify its request for budget and staff increases. While FBI agents from various field offices were desperately seeking leads and suspects, and completely depending on FBI HQ and its language units to provide them with needed translated information, hundreds of translators were being told by their administrative supervisors not to translate and to let the work pile up (please refer to the CBS 60 Minutes transcript dated October 2002, and provided to your investigators in January-February 2004). This issue has been confirmed by the Senate Judiciary Committee (please refer to Senator Grassley's and Senator Leahy's letters during the summer of 2002, provided to your investigators in January-February 2004). This confirmed report has been reported to be substantiated by the Department of Justice Inspector General Report (please refer to DOJ-IG report Re: Sibel Edmonds and FBI Translation, provided to you prior to the completion of your report). I provided your investigators with a detailed and specific account of this issue and the names of other witnesses willing to corroborate this (please refer to tape-recorded 3.5 hours' testimony by Sibel Edmonds, provided to your investigators on February 11, 2004).

17. I don't get it
After 9/11 the FBI slowed work on translations that they probably weren't able to keep up and read all fo them anyway. So what? Give them more money I say.

Hey countingbluecars, I see ya had a pic of big Al as your icon...... You know, I hope he DOES run.... I know, I know..... he screwed up big time by not beating that little a-wipe from Texas the first time around, but........I don't think Hill can beat McCain, on the other hand, Al would have a real shot....... HOW ABOUT GORE/CLINTON IN 2008...???!!! We'd win, and then Hill could run in 2016...!!! One can always dream, can't one..?? GOD BLESS AMERICA....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...serious reservations about the facts when he read the script. He did it anyway. I guess that tells me all I need to know about the

9. If this was the UK and it was T.B.,
- soon to be Tiny Blur, then trust me - it would be what's affectionately here known as a tea break. As a result the speech would remain largely unseen.

I was told 6 years ago that a number of our MPs actually refer to him as TB which as you are aware is a rather nasty infection.

12. if they were re-screening "DC 9/11", Bush could pre-empt himself!
That particular movie had Timothy Bottoms portraying Bush ... and proceeded to muddle things up by mixing highly fictional scenes with actual news footage of Bush. If he interrupted that with a speech, it would have been even more of a mess!

18. They could cut all the lies from the movie
That would leave them more than enough time to run the presidents propaganda on terror and then replay again, then dissect it to spin it for the regime.

Better yet, just cancel the whole damn thing.

It seems to be showing worldwide (Europe, Australia, to name places verified by DUers.) Makes we wonder.

ABC isn't "considering" anything...they've already agreed to it.

The white house has been in on this "production" from DAY ONE.. This is the plan..

By episode 2, they expect the public to be all worked up, anticipating the violent ending they all know is coming,

and whammo!..

"Now we interrupt this program for a message from the COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF,KING-OF-THE-UNIVERSE, MASTER-OF ALL-THINGS..
