7 suspected Taliban die in Afghanistan
KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - Afghan police killed seven suspected Taliban, and three policemen died in a shootout with insurgents in volatile southern Afghanistan, police said Saturday.

Meanwhile, in the east of the country, a suicide car bomber hit a U.S.-led coalition convoy Saturday on the main highway in Nangarhar province, wounding three people, including a coalition soldier, police said.

The violence comes amid the deadliest surge in militant attacks and fighting in Afghanistan since the ouster of the Taliban regime by U.S.-led forces nearly five years ago.

Also, the Afghan army supported by airstrikes launched an operation Saturday against Taliban militants in southern Kandahar province, said Gov. Asadullah Khalid. He had no further details.

1. The definition
"Suspected Taliban"=dead whomever we shot just like in Iraq
"Suspected Insurgents"=dead whomever we shot.
You can justify killing babies not old enough to crawl by calling them "suspected"-at least our cabal and its puppets in those two countries do.

4. That part of the headline creeped me out too. And what makes someone
a 'suspect'? Being able to breathe?

2. I thought we defeated the Taliban!!
There is hardly ever a mention of Afghanistan any more. The media does not want to remind people that we are in TWO wars right now. Both of which we can not win. God bless the troops. Especially the ones in Afghanistan who are ignored by America.
