Hundreds jeer neo-Nazis at Wis. rally
TODD RICHMOND
Associated Press

MADISON, Wis. - Hundreds of people jeered and taunted a group of neo-Nazis who rallied against immigration policy and the Iraq war Saturday on the steps of the state Capitol.

Police estimated about 800 people showed up to counter the Minneapolis-based National Socialist Movement's speakers, but a brief rainstorm thinned the crowd.

Police said 64 neo-Nazis lined the Capitol steps.

Officers closed off the streets around the Capitol and built three fences to keep the crowd dozens of yards from the neo-Nazis. About 300 officers, many in riot gear, stood outside the Capitol ... http://www.sunherald.com/mld/sunherald/news/breaking_news/15370379.htm

We'll have them over for some hotdish and a pop, don't ya know?

Then we'll go to the State Fair, feed'em some food on a stick, then toss their asses in the Mississippi River and let the seagulls eat'em.

10. LMAO
You do that so much better than I do! I'm really a damnyankee from between Boston and New York so I don't have any distinctive accent that I know of :-(

Well, I drink soda, eat casserole, put my groceries in a bag, and drive on a route, if that helps any. :-)

As much as I hate the fact that these guys can actually march around spewing their hate, at least when they do they are confronted with much larger numbers to counter their crap. And that is a good thing.

Driving these people underground (and I could go for that if it were permanent) doesn't give people the opportunity to see the fact that these people do exist in their communities. Ignorance is not bliss when it come to Nazis.

A member of the National Socialist Movement gestures to protesters during a Nazi rally Saturday at the Capitol.
A crowd of counter-demonstrators estimated at 800
drowned out two hours of speeches by a neo-Nazi group
on the stairs of the State Capitol today, but remained peaceful.

A corps of 300 officers from Capitol, Madison and University police and the State Patrol made only five arrests, Capitol Police Chief David Heinle said in a news conference after the rally.

"We consider this day a success," Heinle said, noting that the rally by the National Socialist Movement was kept within its planned 2-4 p.m. time slot.

Four arrests were for disorderly conduct, and one for resisting arrest, Heinle said. No injuries were reported. Heinle ordered the Capitol Building closed at 3 p.m., he said, because of concerns over rowdy behavior by Anti-Racist Action.

Sixty-four members of the neo-Nazi group stood at the top of the Capitol steps at State Street, separated from counterdemonstrators by a ring of mounted police and state troopers in riot gear and a double row of fencing.

15. Funny how the same "freedom of speech" doesn't apply to everyone
For example if someone here wants to openly associate with groups like Islamic Jihad, Al Qaeda or HAMAS they will be jailed, kicked out of the country and tortured, same goes for a "radical" muslim who might say something that others don't like. In Florida a young man was jailed for just holding up a Fuck Bush sign, you can watch the whole thing here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23QgunoRYxw.

So why are these nazis getting special treatment and protection?

18. The Bushista years have pumped up the hate groups: once unacceptable ..
.. eliminationist rhetoric has received constant exposure from the AnalCyst, the AnnHole, and their ilk, although the current target ("liberals") is not the standard target of eliminationist noise.

But hearing their language spoken emboldens the hate groups ...

42. Well, the biggest reason...
...is that several other hate groups, including World Church of the Creator and Aryan Nations, have recently imploded and left their members free to join the Nazi movement, which is growing in popularity. It's probably better for racists to rally under the banner of the most overt and offensive movements like the American Nazi Party instead of something like the "Church of the Creator," which might appear respectable to an inattentive bystander.

38. Besides the fact they hate Israel and see them as the ones behind
the Iraq war, theres isn't much difference. I mean the fake support for Jews from the republicans is mostly because they think this will help Armageddon happen, which of course were it to happen would kill most Jews. So the difference is that Neo-Nazis don't support Israel because they think Jews should be killed, and Republicans support Israel so that Jews will end up being killed at the last day. Not much difference in my book.
