Head of GOP women's group arrested on voter fraud charge
http://www.wate.com/Global/story.asp?S=5327531

NASHVILLE (AP) -- The president of the Tennessee Federation of Republican Women has been arrested on charges of voter fraud.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jennifer Johnson said Friday that Shirley Ward turned herself in on a misdemeanor charge of false entry on an official registration or election document.

Ward, of Tipton County, is charged with knowingly voting in the wrong district of the county during early voting on July 14.

...

She was deputy chairwoman of the President Bush supporter group "W Stands for Women" in 2004, and has served as the county chairwoman for U-S Senators Bill Frist and unsuccessful Republican Senate candidate Van Hilleary.

:rofl:

8. Friends, this is FLORI-DUH
We're ruled by yet another Bush monarch here, and believe-you-me Jebbie takes care of his own.
No harm will come to Annie C whilst the Repubs are in charge, and given that the GOPers are set
to remain the dominant party in power, she can sleep tight tonight and every night.

5. So, you have a problem with transexuals? Or ann coulter?
Please specify.

Oh, welcome to DU.

In case you can't tell, I find "TraniAnnie" extremely insulting. It's right up there with "Mann Coulter".

E. Gender Identity Attacks

1. "Mann Coulter" – the implications of this phrase are that:

* 1.a. - because a woman looks a certain way, i.e., not "feminine" enough, she is not a "real woman;"

o 1.a.1. - that there is something pathological about not being a "real woman;"

* 1.b. - that a person's personality and/or pathology is tied to their appearance and or sex/gender;

* 1.c. - that there is something pathological with a person if their physiology does not match their gender identification;

o 1.c.1. - and that subsequently there is something pathological about transgendered people;

* 1.d. - That there is something pathological about a man wanting to be a woman.

(sexist: because it it endorses the destructive and false idea that all things feminine are bad, evil, dirty, weak, pathological, etc.)

10. That works. :D
Of course I also like, "total waste of human flesh; a wasted bag of toxic slime* spewing vile toxins of vitriol and poison."

But that's just me.

11. republicons are so corrupt -- Why do they hate America and Americans?
Edited on Fri Aug-25-06 09:42 PM by SpiralHawk
Why do they hate honesty and corruption?

Is it all because of the corrupt example of George AWOL Bush and Dick ""Five Deferments"
Cheney?

Honest Americans deserve an answer from the corrupt republicon cronies

15. Yes!!! Even in Tennessee, the Rethugligans are sinking like stones.
With a 60+% disapproval rating for the Smirking Chimp and Harold Ford's ads including repeated references to his Chimpship (including Duh-bya french-kissing his robe-wearing Arab owners), this will be a fun fall. Unfortunately, the Rethugs' inside man in the TN Department of State insured that Diebold won most of the county election equipment contracts. So we have to go into the election 20+% ahead in the polls in hopes they won't try to steal another one.

And if they do, it's time for another Battle of Athens (TN) in every county in the state.
