Tony Blair and John Reid 'dominating' UK media
Well they do run the country I suppose.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/5264334.stm

Home Secretary John Reid has gained almost as much UK media coverage in the past two weeks as John Prescott and Gordon Brown combined, a study claims.

Mr Reid led the government's response to terror raids amid reports - denied by Downing Street - that deputy PM Mr Prescott had been sidelined. Tony Blair got the most coverage, according to the LexisNexis survey.

Tory leader David Cameron lagged well behind but was still comfortably ahead of Lib Dem leader Sir Menzies Campbell.

The survey will fuel speculation Mr Reid is raising his profile ahead of a possible leadership challenge when Tony Blair steps down.

1. It seems Reid is more willing
to promote the BushCo version of things and especially likes to hype the terror threat. No wonder the M$M loves him all of a sudden.

7. Alistair Darling is Trade and Industry Secretary
The Transport Secretary is actually Douglas Alexander. And Douglas Alexander has also been all over the UK media of late, what with the chaos at the airports and all that.

going to permit the coronation of Gordon Brown (by implicit acclaim , it seems) that the media were pushing; so a coronation of Reid seems at least as unlikely. I just hope there are enough of them with sufficient residual integrity to put the kybosh on a 'coronation' of either of them. The media never changes their spots.
