At least 9 killed, including women and children, in IAF strike in Lebanon
From Ha'aretz:

At least nine Lebanese people were killed Sunday as Israel Air Force planes blasted cities throughout the country. Seven were killed near Tyre, among them a mother and her three children.

Hours later, Israeli warplanes launched a strike on Beirut's mainly Hezbollah-controlled southern suburb on Sunday, destroying 11 residential buildings and killing at least one civilian, witnesses and security sources said.

Earlier, Israeli warplanes fired missiles into gasoline stations in the southern port city of Tyre on Sunday, and killed at least seven people in other attacks, The Associated Press reported.

Anyway, this is a typical day for the IDF. Nothing new here. Our tax dollars at work.

Lebanese Red Cross and civil defense rescuers rush the body of a young girl who was taken out of the rubble of a building that was destroyed in the southern suburb of Beirut, Lebanon, Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006, following an Israeli attack. Israeli warplanes pounded south Beirut with at least 20 missiles in a two-minute period Sunday, minutes after the Israeli government approved a U.N. cease-fire plan that was to go into effect 17 hours later.
