Jeb Bush's favorite terrorist, how could he not be released?
Terrorist Posada Carriles to Ask US for Release
Washington, Aug 12 (Prensa Latina) International terrorist Luis Posada Carriles will appear before a federal US court on Monday to ask for his liberation, irrespective of his huge dossier as criminal.
Posada Carriles´ lawyer Eduardo Soto said the petition will be based on the assessment that Posada Carriles, detained for over a year after illegally entering the US, should not be indefinitely convicted.
The notorious criminal is held in a detention center in Texas, where he has remained since May 2005, following his public appearance in Miami and proven his illegal entry into the US, from Mexico.
Despite the Venezuelan extradition request, seeking to punish him for involvement in the bombing of a Cuban airliner in 1976 that killed 73 people, Posada Carriles has only been charged for that immigration crime.
He is also connected with a string of bomb attacks against tourist facilities in Havana in 1977, when Italian youth Fabio di Celmo was killed.
