Review Panel Called Baker Inexperienced, Unfocused

CLEVELAND -- The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections ballot manager resigned Tuesday, three months after what some call a disastrous May primary.

The county's elections review panel described Robert Baker as too inexperienced and very unfocused, and that he "lacked the passionate concern for voting integrity," NewsChannel5 reported.

Baker, who was hired just two months prior to the May primary, said he actually agreed with some of the criticisms the committee made about his performance.

Baker said his last day on the job will be Aug. 18...
