Walberg upsets Schwarz in 7th District congressional race (MI)
Republican challenger Tim Walberg upset Rep. Joe Schwarz in Tuesday’s GOP primary in southern Michigan, using a staunchly conservative message and help from the Washington-based Club for Growth to defeat the first-term congressman.

With 73 percent of the precincts reporting, Walberg had 55 percent, or 26,295 votes. Schwarz had 45 percent, or 21,617 votes.

Schwarz called Walberg to concede the race, both campaigns said.

2. Let them run to the right
They will lose.

Rethuglicans best chance is to run centrist, and this doesn't help them

Out here in New Mexico, Heather Wilson doesn't mention she's even a Republican in her ads...

4. I don't get it. I must admit that I haven't followed any rep. primaries
but how does a guy winning in a conservative district by running farther to the right than the (R) incumbent result in a (D) win in Nov?
