Officers Arrive 11 Hours After 911 Call

Detroit police are investigating the reason it took officers 11 hours to respond to an emergency call.

Police said a stranger used a bicycle seat to boost himself through a first-floor backyard window of a home on the corner of Sunderland and Vasser streets on Detroit's west side.

Once inside, the man attacked and allegedly attempted to rape Geneva Jones, who was sleeping in her bed, Local 4 reported.

Jones began kicking and screaming.
