Kremlin Warns of Strain in U.S. Ties
The Kremlin warned Monday of possible retaliation against the United States for sanctions imposed on two major companies in the Russian defense industry.

"We cannot rule out certain negative consequences for bilateral relations" between Russia and the United States, presidential administration spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday. "This was an unfriendly act toward Russia, and it was not done in a spirit of cooperation."

Rosoboronexport chief Sergei Chemezov suggested Monday that a proposed deal for U.S. companies to deliver up to $1 billion in Russian military hardware to Afghanistan and Iraq could be jeopardized by the sanctions, Interfax reported.

Meanwhile in Washington, U.S. trade officials said that the United States was reviewing whether to withdraw longtime trade benefits for Russia and 12 other advanced developing countries, Reuters reported.

4. I reckon' the neoCONprofiteering assholes are gonna' get,...
,...their WWIII (some of those "crazies" call it WWIV).

They are willing to actually throw the dice on their own country figuring, without any doubt, they can conquer the world, never figuring the world has been building a collective opposition.

I play a piece of sand role in that opposition,...against imperialism and towards a WORLD-WIDE democratic system. The neoCONprofiteering assholes are the antithesis to that which I was taught, as an American citizen, to believe.

Report: China has deployed missiles giving it second-strike capability against U.S.

The U.S. intelligence community has determined that Beijing has developed and deployed a series of missiles that would give China second-strike nuclear capability in any confrontation with the United States. The determination of a sea-based deterrent is said to have significantly increased Beijing's threat to the United States.

"It is clear to me that China is now embarking on a significant investment in a second-strike capability to ensure the survival and, thus, viability of its nuclear forces," said Richard Fisher, a researcher at the International Assessment and Strategy Center and a leading U.S. expert on China.

In a presentation to the American Enterprise Institute on July 11, Mr. Fisher said China has launched or tested a series of nuclear missiles and platforms.

He said the first Type 94 submarine ballistic nuclear missile has been equipped and launched.

The Type 94, which began construction in 1999, is designed to contain the JL-2 submarine-launched nuclear missiles. Each submarine is meant to contain 16 JL-2s, or DF-31s, with a range of 8,000 kilometers, which would allow Chinese submarines to target portions of the United States from areas near the Chinese coast.

The disclosure of the completion of the Type 94 submarine appeared to mark a significant acceleration in China's nuclear submarine program. As late as May 2004, the Pentagon asserted that the new Chinese missile submarine would not be operational until around 2010.

any wonder that other countries are accelerating their nuclear development now?

,...are BIGGER than us arrogant, self-centered lot.

They world will destroy us in defense against us,...unless something "just" is imposed by that former "beacon of democracy": it's called the rule of law without which democracy cannot exist. Those in power have no respect for law or religion or humanity. NONE.

Kinda' scary when you think about the way these "leaders" operate: no morals, no loyalty to country/men/ideals, no limits on pathological manipulation and torture. :scared: SICK CRIMINALS.
