White House rebuffs Clinton criticism of Rumsfeld

WASHINGTON The White House today brushed aside Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's call for the resignation of Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.

Clinton -- in an interview yesterday with the Associated Press -- called for President Bush to accept Rumsfeld's resignation over what she called a "failed policy" in Iraq.

The New York Democrat told the A-P the defense secretary has, quote -- "lost credibility with the Congress and with the people."

White House spokesman Tony Snow now says the president still believes Rumsfeld is the best person to lead the Defense Department.

for the Dept. of Defense. After all, that have Dick Five Deferments Cheney, Rush Anal Cyst Limbaugh, and Bill "I'm a Total Selective Service Weenie" O'Reilly to give them advice.

Asshat Tony must be channelling ScottyBoy to be pumping out this slop. He's settling into the job quite nicely, it would appear.

5. Rumsfeld is the best person to lead DoD?
Oh golly; that means The Decider is even more incompetent than the nincompoop he appointed!

But fortunately, there's no difference between the parties (or so I keep hearing), so this catastrophe was pretty much unavoidable.

7. Heck of a job, Rummy.
I remind the gallery that the President is the Decider and therefore the blame for whatever Rumsfeld does properly falls on the President.

Bush had rejected it. A year or two ago.--over the Gitmo issue

11. Senator Clinton seemingly has taken the plunge--not
Several conservatives have called for th firing of Rumsfeld, months ago.

I notice that the criticism of the way the war was conducted (I wonder if she thought the war was justified, as long as it was conducted properly and we were in without loss of human life--seeing as how she voted for it and for the little boy Dauphine to have his way about EVERYTHING connected to the invasion and the killing and the slaughter that insued--remember that?--it was a gaddam slaughter and she voted to let him have his way with them all in Iraq, and there is NO excuse for it--congressional members have a staff responsible for researching--we ordinary people who froze our asses off, desperately pleading in protests to NOT LET IT happen, knew better than a US Senator?) Now she jumps on the bandwagon and is desribed as "testy" by the media? Jeez people. We must not be drawn into this propaganda AGAIN. HOld her feet to the fire re her vote--and if she does not address that vote, show contrition for her warmongering to we the people--then please let us not be taken in AGAIN and jerked around by these despicable politcs.

If she wants to run, she must, absolutely must come clean about the vote NOW. If she does not, it will be thrown up in her face, repeatedly, by the opposition. Remeber the talking point? Bush said they that voted for his invasion, had the same intelligence as he did.

There ya go. Resist all these political attempts on the part of Hillary Clinton. I cannot believe that I am reading Democrats saying and cheering this woman, who has blood on her hands and refuses, absolutely refuses to admit her mistake but is c arrying on as if she now has some say in the "execution" of that slaughter. I cannot believe that these persons calling the, selves Democrats, would ever be so hypocritical as to "forget" her vote and disregard the waste of human life that she gave sanction to when she voted to let a stupid man, invade and slaughter and kill and maim--all on LIES.

Now we have the slaughter going on in Lebanon. And where does this woman stand on that? Of course--she is for killing and slaughter ONCE MORE AS WELL AS THE MAJORITY OF OUR CONGRESS.

Why the hell do we have this as the "wisdom" of our representatives? Why?
