Molotov Cocktail Hits Jewish School

BALTIMORE -- Baltimore City police and the FBI are looking into a Molotov cocktail attack on the Baltimore Hebrew University.

The incident occurred Thursday afternoon at the school in the 5800 block of Park Heights Avenue.

According to police, an employee heard a bang on a side door and saw a small fire outside.

There were no reports of major damage, and no one was injured. Police do not have any suspects in the attack.

Thursday is the Jewish Holiday of Tisha B'Av, and Director Art Abramson said police presence around the the university, and other Jewish institutions is usually increased. He did say security has been beefed up at the university.

...but not because of or toward Jews, specifically. They just happened to be the second. The first was the wave of homeless beatings that has happened in the past years. The fact that there is now legislation present in some cities prohibiting the charitable feeding of the homeless in public area, including parks, only proves what I am about to say.

This shows a marked tolerance for letting things, in general, get out of control. Wait until little or nothing is done, thereby giving tacit approval- even while never issuing any public comment, which could call attention to a trend- to acts such as these.

If religion got involved, oh boy. I can't imagine what horrors would await us.

Are there "churches" that preach that poor people are lazy and unworthy of god? Are there any of those in the areas in which these beatings took place?

Or were they just very republican areas?

All over the city, this is just one of many incidents. All the other incidents were not against Jewish sites so they didn't get as much publicity as this one got.
