Miami plot suspects entrapped: lawyers
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Seven men charged with conspiring to bomb the Sears Tower in Chicago and the FBI building in Miami were entrapped by a federal informant, lawyers for two of the suspects said on Monday.

An indictment issued last week accused the men of pledging loyalty to Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda and seeking the group's support to "wage war" against the U.S. government.

The person they thought was an al Qaeda representative was actually an FBI informant, U.S. Justice Department officials said.

Albert Levin, the court-appointed attorney for suspect Patrick Abraham, said he believes his client was ensnared by the informant.

2. Wondering how much money they were offered to get the job done?
Apparently, not enough-

Perhaps the reason the fbi's plans went awry.

3. Then they were smeared by the M$M
who gushed and gasped all about the al CIAda terrorists that they caught.

I hope these kids sue the shit out of everyone involved in this fabricated fear campaign.

4. The corporate media yammered loud and long about them.
Made a lot of noise, acted as if this had to be the ultimate achievement in law enforcement. They nearly had them ready for lynching.

Goddamned idiots. I hope they sue, too. Want to see this story shoved right back in their grubby, Bush-serving, lying, fact-scorning faces.

5. BushCo and the M$M made all sorts of baseless accusations
for 3 straight days. Some of them continue to push the baseless story. Yet, few of them are retracting what the story they promoted and are deliberately ignoring the story that is emerging.

Now tell me again, who are the terrorists?

9. entrapment is an "affirmative defense" . . .
it essentially shifts the burden of proof from the state to the defendents, who must prove that they wouldn't have committed a crime were it not for government agents urging them to do so . . .
