Powerful earthquake strikes Indonesia

A powerful 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia's Sulawesi island early Sunday
morning local time, but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

This comes after a 6.3-magnitude quake that devastated large parts of Java on May 27,
killing more than 5,800 people.

The latest quake struck just before dawn, under the sea, about 290 kilometres southwest
of the city of Manado on Sulawesi.
