One killed in US crash in Kabul
Another break failure?

One killed in US crash in Kabul

Authorities in Afghanistan say at least one person has been killed in a road accident involving a vehicle belonging to the US-led coalition forces.

A number of people were also injured when a US military truck came off the road in the capital, Kabul, and crashed into a house, the police said.

The incident happened close to the area where a US military truck crashed in May, triggering riots across the city.

There were no reports of immediate unrest after Tuesday's incident.

The police said the military truck was involved in an accident with a motorcyclist before crashing off the road into a house in the Saray Shomaly area on the outskirts of Kabul.

1. Again?
Something is seriously going on in Afghanistan with US troops at the wheel.

Not 2 weeks ago, the same thing happened in that country. A US convoy is out driving around in "rush hour traffic" and slam into 3 (?) cars, causing deaths. Again, we see huge uprisings and riots.

And now this. The US truck drives into an Afghan house. There is something seriously going on, like these drivers are on drugs, or they're out driving drunk. Why else would this happen again so soon?

2. Smells like road rage to me
We have a bunch of psychologically damaged troops that it is remarkable that we haven't had more incidents of wanton violence. I fear for their families when the ticking time bombs return home.

4. I think they are afraid of bombs and ambushes
So they tear around at high speed, hoping to avoid both. The fate of civilians is not a concern.
